Crikey that bought back some memories! I was there that day and not too far from the camera man either! I was slightly nearer the half way line and a few rows behind.

Sammy Mac and the boys came out into the stand later.

Will always remember the plastic football landing on the pitch during the game. Some lads had climbed up the scaffolding (erected for the new executive suite in the main stand) and got onto the Stretty roof!

Happy days.

I still (selfishly) feel that those of us who followed United through the barren years and into the second division somehow understand what following United is all about much better than you young sprogs who have never seen United outside the top three in the league!
