Can I give a MUST membership as a gift?
Yes. Many people do give membership as a birthday or Christmas present. You must fill out the application in the name of the new member (the gift recipient). We cannot guarantee to deliver it on a specific day - it will be processed and posted out 1-7 days after we receive it. However you can supply an alternative address (e.g. your own or a friend's) if you don't want the pack to go direct to the new member. In this case you may wish to supply an alternative email address (usually your own) to ensure they don't receive an email from us in advance of receiving their membership pack. Once they receive their membership pack they can notify us of an amendment to their address details. When paying by credit card please make sure you supply the credit card billing address on the payment page (the final page on the secure server where you enter your credit card number) as the address supplied on the first page is automatically carried through to the payment page and so needs to be amended if it is different. Your credit card details are not 'attached' to the membership, so giving a membership as a gift doesn't mean that you are permanently obligated to pay for it. Note further that there is no age limit on membership. The only real age issue is the practical matter of having funds/a bank account/a credit or debit card to conduct the transaction! Last edited by Paul Brooks; 15th November 2005 at 23:50.
