Those of us who know Tom Clare are truly privileged.

Born in Manchester and a young lad during the days of the Busby Babes, Tom possesses an encyclopaedic knowledge of and passion for his club that is unmatched. His essays have been featured in United fanzines and on the Munich tribute site, and we are indeed fortunate to include them here in their entirety. We are even more fortunate to call him a member and friend.

Now, go fix yourself a cup of tea and sit down for a good read.
